DESCRIPTION:Monopoly is one of the most successful board games of all time, but how well do we really know it?  This talk covers the origin of the game and then focuses on the classic 1936 London board.  How the properties were selected, the relationship between the members of each set and which ones don’t actually exist are just some of the questions addressed in this talk. Expect some surprises and great images as we look at the history of these familiar locations and uncover some of the mysteries behind Monopoly. Everyone will learn something new about this familiar old friend of a board game.\n
